Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, hopefully you have made it one month into your New Year's Resolutions as February begins.This can only happen when we focus on the goals we set and have the endurance to continue. Along the way, we may find ourselves falling off or losing our direction, but it is at these times that we must get back up and gather our determination to continue towards our goals. With each small failure, and there may be many, success follows.

This process is true - personally and professionally and they go hand in hand. Our goals should start with our priorities in life and wrap around these. For me these priorities are faith and family first, followed by work and friends. When I get this in order, everything rolls smoother and my goals become more clear and defined. Many times my team at the office will hear me say that I expect great things of them, but this can only be achieved when they take care of their family first and make sure that these needs are meet and taken care of first.

During February, I want to remember what I have been blessed with that is precious to me. At the office, my blessing is getting the opportunity work with many wonderful people, including my son, which are the most important asset of Pine Press Printing. If we could really break it down, the P & L statement should list each one of our employees as a long term asset of the company. They are each invaluable to the success of our company and with this we should invest in these assets with training, team building, appreciation, flexibility and encouragement. These are people that are the face of the company and become a testament to the integrity and expertise of our product, service, mission and vision.

Remember to take the time say Thank You and encourage your team to reach for the goals and vision that have been set for this year – personally and professionally.
